Zukunft Säen 2021 - a short recap
In golden October weather, this year's "Zukunft Säen" took place on the grounds of the Miller-Mariany Biohaff in Bastendorf.
After a speech by Dani Noesen, head of the association Vereenegung fir Biolandwirtschaft Lëtzebuerg a.s.b.l., and the collective sowing, the Zukunftsbrot 2021 was cut and offered for tasting alongside other food and drinks in organic quality. The wheat sown will be baked into the Zukunftsbrot 2022 next year.
Until the end of October, the Zukunftsbrot 2021 (sesame bread) can still be bought at the Naturata Bio Marchés. The bread is partly made from wheat that was sown at last year's Zukunft Säen event. The wheat is ground in the Bakhaus flour mill.
The association has also recently published a new issue of Agrikultur, this time focusing on biodiversity. You can find the magazine in the Naturata stores.
